The Collector’s Suite offers a double bedroom with an adjoining single room and a private bathroom, comfortably accommodating up to 3 guests.
The heart of the home is a grand, double-height salon with a central skylight, enriched with Persian rugs, neoclassical consoles, and art pieces collected over the years across Europe and Asia. Known as the Living Wunderkammer, the residence brings together a living space and a private collection in a rare and carefully balanced way — a place designed for those who appreciate authentic, character-filled environments beyond standard hospitality. The owner, Andreas, lives on the lower floor and welcomes guests with discretion. For those who wish, he is happy to share the story of the house and its collection, adding a more personal dimension to the stay.
The residence is located on Spalenring, in the “Am Ring” district, just a few minutes from Basel’s historic old town. The area is quiet and well connected, with museums, cafés, and restaurants all within easy reach.
