Arenal Hideaway operates as a vacation loft home; there is no daily housekeeping. Our concept is focused on providing guests with a more independent and private stay while still offering remote assistance and support whenever needed during their visit.
Conveniently located near La Fortuna’s main attractions, guests can easily enjoy hot springs, waterfalls, hiking trails, adventure tours, and local restaurants while returning to a peaceful retreat immersed in nature.

Arenal Hideaway is located in a peaceful residential area just outside downtown La Fortuna, surrounded by tropical nature and away from the busy tourist crowds. The property offers a quiet and relaxing atmosphere while still being conveniently close to the region’s main attractions, including hot springs, waterfalls, restaurants, and adventure activities.
Please note that the last section of the road leading to the property is unpaved. Due to the rural nature of the area and the road conditions — especially during the rainy season — we highly recommend renting an SUV for a more comfortable experience. A 4x4 vehicle is even better and strongly recommended for travelers wanting extra comfort and easier access during all weather conditions.
The surrounding area is very peaceful, with only a few nearby homes and beautiful natural scenery that allows guests to enjoy birdwatching and occasional wildlife sightings right from the property.
