It was clean, comfortable, in a great location - several blocks from the plaza, bus station, and restaurants - and Noemy was DELIGHTFUL and incredibly helpful. Even though the title of the listing says it’s a “small apartment”, it seemed quite spacious with plenty of room to spread out. We felt very safe and comfortable there…the bed, pillows and blankets were great! She was also super helpful with recommendations too. 💖

The room had everything we needed and everything worked. We were impressed with how nice the property was. It was like newly renovated and really comfortable to stay. The coffee maker with grounded coffee available really made my day, every day We especially want to thank the owner for his timely reply on any questions we had, gave us suggestions for planning activities, and his local favorites. All the above made the trip even more memorable. We like to come back again in the future. Even though this place is about 25 minutes from the town of La Fortuna, we felt this was not a burden to arrange our activities. We also like that the gate can be closed by a remote. Don't forget to check this nice friendly dog from downstairs, she sometimes came up and waited at the door.

There are no words to genuine pleasure it was to stay at El Valle. Eric was the perfect host and we had the best experience. The food was wonderful and accommodations nice, comfortable and clean. Please visit the hot springs and restaurant—very good. ♥️
