Rafiki Beach Camp is a family run bed and Breakfast. The owner comes from South Africa where luxury tents camps were founded. The idea of camping on the beach is amazing, especially with hot water showers, hotel beds, tile floors, and an awesome pool!
Lautjie is a Biologist and avid outdoor enthusiast. He leads tours on property as well as Rafiki Safari Lodge. Mauren is a local "tica". She loves gardening, and loves taking care of guests and her 2 lovely children. Noah and Acacia.
Matapalo Beach is one of the last "diamonds in the rough" of Costa Rica. Miraculously development has passed by this area, leaving wild beaches that stretch for miles without single person on them. Just 30 minutes from Manuel Antonio or Marino Ballena National Park, Matapalo is a perfect staging point for all of the adventures of the central pacific coast of Costa Rica.
