Long, almost untouched sandy beaches, the famous Golden Beach with turquoise water, wild donkeys roaming freely, very little development → a true natural paradise. 👉 Perfect for a day trip or road trip. 🏖️ Alagadi Turtle Beach Alagadi Beach is located west of Tatlısu: known as the “turtle beach”, nesting site for sea turtles 🐢, ideal for swimming & snorkeling. 👉 With a bit of luck, you might even see freshly hatched turtles. 🏰 Kantara Castle (very close!) Kantara Castle is one of the three famous mountain castles: spectacular views over the north coast and Karpaz, great photo spots, relatively uncrowded. 👉 One of the best short trips from Tatlısu. 🏔️ Kyrenia Mountains (Besparmak) The Kyrenia mountain range lies directly behind Tatlısu: hiking with sea views, small mountain villages, dramatic rock formations. 👉 Ideal if you want a mix of nature and activity. 🏛️ Highlights across Northern Cyprus (worth it!) 🏙️ Girne (Kyrenia) The town of Girne is about 30–40 minutes away: beautiful harbor, Kyrenia Castle with a shipwreck museum, picturesque atmosphere.
