The central location of the area and the good road network make travel easy to all parts of Cyprus including Nicosia the capital of Cyprus. To the east close by are the resorts of Ayia Napa with one of the biggest water parks, Protaras with its sea caves and small white-sand bays, Ayia Thekla with its secluded beaches and "Potamos tou Liopetriou" boasting of its picturesque fishery harbour. Larnaca town centre, to the west, is fifteen min drive and it is certainly worth the visit. There you can walk in the old town's commerce streets, visit the renowned Saint Lazarus Cathedral with its famous iconostasis, stroll along the largest promenade in Cyprus 'Phinikoudes' with the old wooden pier, see the yacht marina and the medieval fort. And make time to visit the town's Archaeological Museum and the Laographic Pierides museum.
