You are in the heart of the city - only 1 walking minute to the lakeside - with all it has to offer: bakeries, restaurants, supermarkets, pubs & night clubs, museums, shopping malls, parks, lake promenade with all kinds boating, fishing and swimming & bathing opportunities. If you want to travel a bit further, Bavaria and neighboring wonderful Austria & Switzerland are only 30 minutes away both by car and boat. Passionate skiers and/or alpinists might even consider using our place as their base for skiing/ hiking excursions to Vorarlberg ( Austria ) and other nearby locations. The HQs of leading Multinationals ZF, RollsRoyce, Airbus and others can easily be reached on foot or by public transport. the same applies to our international fairground ( Messe Friedrichshafen ).
