Colorful garden apartment, with full kitchen. Dog friendly, cyclists, motorcyclists and hikers welcome, with many amenities including EV charger, free parking, gas grill, firepit and gas grill on request, garden games (croquet, darts, cornhole) sharp kitchen knives, smart TV, washing machine, hair dryer, microwave, coffee station, new queen-sized bed in 2025...The apartment was renovated in 2024 and is located in a quiet village that's part of the larger Ettlingen.
I grew up in Alaska and lived in Portland, Oregon 8 years before moving to Germany in 2001. I have travelled a lot, and play/write music, love cycling (mostly on road), playing golf, hiking... basically being outdoors. My wife and I have a dog and cat who you will likely meet during a stay.
Ettlingen-Schoellbronn is a quiet community a short drive from Ettlingen. The Black Forest (Schwarzwald) offers hiking/cycling trails directly from the house. There are a few dining options nearby - many more in Ettlingen - and grocery shopping, a bakery and a gas station nearby. The apartment is on a low traffic residential street, so your car is safe whether parked on the street or in our driveway.
