“Capitaine Lucas” is our holiday home since 1972. It was built in 1965 on California plans on the initiative of an American officer stationed at the US Rota base. It has been deeply remodeled in 1975 and restored in 2015. It is located, between the central street of Los Canos and the sea, in a garden of 1500 m2, on top of the 20 meters cliff overlooking the beach. It is protected by an enclosure 3 to 3.50 m high. The pedestrian gate and the parking gate open at No. 7, Avenida Trafalgar. It consists of two houses, located like two steps: The upper house and the lower house. The lower house has one terrace South of 35 m2 along the façade overhanging the beach and another one, East of 20 m2. The lower house is not available for rent, but the terraces are accessible. The roof of the lower house offers the "big" terrace (150 m2) of the upper house. Along the French doors of the salon and the bedroom, an archway of 30 m2 provides a spare shade and cool area. A sliding door to the East protects, eventually from the "Levante". A fourth terrace of 150 m2 is accessible, on the roof.

Capitaine Lucas” is located closer to the access to the pine forest of the Natural Park of Brena. It is a stone's throw from two of the best restaurants in the area: La Brena, quoted in the Michelin and Los Castillejos. To accommodate your visiting friends, Hotel Frente al mar, probably the best hotel in Los Canos and indisputably the best located, is at 20 meters as well as the famous bar “La pequena Lulu”. The beach of “Capitaine Lucas” is accessible by a staircase located immediately east of the property. At 20 meters away, another staircase allows access to the nudist beach.
