The house is in Malaga Province in Comares village, it's roughly 100 years and has been restored with love, retaining its original, rustic character of a traditional, yet unique/quirky, white village house (please note the house is not suitable for people with restricted mobility). On entering the property, you are enticed into the kitchen by an array of original, ornate tiles that have character worn into them. To the right you have a restored chesterfield next to a large wood burner that keeps the whole house warm in the cooler months. On glancing to your left, the large kitchen invites you to try your hand at some Spanish cuisine. A large oak dining table, sits in the middle of the newly built traditional terracotta Kitchen. There is a large double ceramic sink that sits proudly in front of a window which gives you a stunning view of the village street and beautiful Mount Muroma, forever changing with the light and cloud formation, a view that never gets boring. The kitchen opens up into a spacious hallway which in turn, turns into the small snug room, with a large smart TV. Upstairs a Large master bedroom boasts a Kingsize bed and Juliette balcony that also looks over Mount Maroma and the sea. A vanity area, as well as a daybed/sofa for lounging on, adds to the comfort that this spacious room provides. The second bedroom has two single beds and two arm chairs. A room divider is also provided for privacy. Unique features restored: On the floors and walls, we have counted 33 different types of original tiles, laid throughout. *Warnings *Due to the age of the house and in keeping with the original structure some of the doorways are low. Signs are up around the house where appropriate. *The original stairs have also been kept and this short staircase may be quite steep for some people. * Situated behind the house an area of public land with a viewpoint, which has an amazing view. Please be aware that this area is not fenced and children should be supervised.

Comares is one of the highest white villages in Andalucía at 739 metres above sea level, Comares can be spied for miles around, rising high above the surrounding countryside and resembling a natural extension to the craggy rock face. First time visitors may still find the approach baffling in the fact that the village keeps disappearing from view as the windy country roads dip and curve. It has a population of about 1.500. The journey from Málaga airport is less than an hour, while the nearest town Velez-Malaga and coastal resort - Torre del Mar are half an hour away. Comares Has a variety of beautiful hiking trails. The village also boasts the longest zip wire in Spain. As well as rock climbing and adventure trails for all ages There is a large village pool open for the summer months.
