Casa La Nuez offers B&B accommodation for up to 4 people in the village of Los Ríos, near to Almedinilla and set in the Cordoban countryside between the towns of Priego de Córdoba and Alcalá la Real. Casa La Nuez offers boutique accommodation decorated in the andalucian style. There are two rooms with each its own private bathroom. One room offers a double bed and the other has twin beds. The letting accommodation offers wi-fi, bathrobes, private terraces and access to the garden which has a large swimming pool, sun terraces, and shade.
We offer a continental breakfast, with fresh bread, cheese, meat, fruit and fresh orange juice. Tea and coffee are of course available.
Finally it's happening : our own B&B. For years we had been dreaming of having our own place in the south. But it always seemed a distant dream. Until all of a sudden things started to move. During a holiday in Andalucia we where overwhelmed by the beauty of the region and the hospitality of the Andalucians. Then we happened to find Casa La Nuez which was for sale and the ball started rolling.
Almost all of our clients come here to visit the area and included in that are the Alhambra Palace in Granada and the Mezquita in Córdoba. Granada is easily reachable in less than one hour. The Alhambra is one of the most beautiful historic palaces you can visit in Spain. Booking tickets upfront and online is essential. There is so much to see in Granada, you could spend several days there.
Córdoba is a magical place, and is very compact to walk around. It is one of the most stunning locations and steeped in moorish history, with flamenco festivals and local markets.
There are other magical towns and places to visit including Priego de Córdoba, Alcalá la Real, Zuheros, Zagrilla, the Subbetica National Park. For birdwatchers, walkers and a taste of spanish cuisine, this area is so genuinely natural, it is an oasis in itself.
