Casa Valparaíso Málaga" is a traditional Andalusian townhouse, completely renovated in 2020 with all comforts. It is located 350 m from the beach in a quiet residential area of El Palo (Málaga), an old fishermen's quarter with authentic Andalusian lifestyle and very good access to the centre of Málaga (5 km). Ideal for families with children (fully equipped), people with reduced mobility and groups. There are 5 bedrooms incl. studio, patio, roof terrace, small terrace in front of the house, 2 bathrooms with shower, another toilet in the patio, air conditioning (hot/cold), town gas, fully equipped kitchen and internet fibre 300Mb. On the ground floor there are 2 bedrooms with double beds (sliding doors 88cm, bed 45cm high), a barrier-free bathroom (Roca Access toilet 45cm and washbasin 79cm, 2 grab rails, shower chair, non-slip large shower plate, access shower 83cm) and a triple room (bunk bed, single bed). The living/dining area is connected to the patio. On the 1st floor there is a studio with double bed, bathroom, kitchenette, Smart TV & single bed. From the patio there is access to the upper terrace and to another single bedroom. The bedrooms are equipped with shutters, mosquito nets in the windows, blackout curtains, and air conditioning. We provide bed linen (single or double bed), towels (incl. beach towels) and cleaning products etc. free of charge. Cleaning and shopping service during your stay available on request. Note: The house sleeps 11 comfortably (even up to 12 with an extra bed), but the size of the dining/living/patio area is more suitable for about 8 people. More are possible, 12 people can sit at the dining room table incl. folding table and also the patio can be extended with the living room with the door open, however the house is more suitable for many people when life is more outdoors during the day.

From only 150m from the house you have everything you need: Bus stop (every few min a bus connects El Palo with the centre of Málaga in 20 min), taxi rank, bike and canoe rental, pharmacies, bakeries, market hall with many fish stalls, cafés, supermarkets, organic food shop, restaurants, etc. The beaches of El Palo have kept their original charm and there is a very good selection of bars and restaurants at affordable prices (like the "espetos", sardine skewers) that El Palo residents visit daily. The beach offers children's playgrounds every few hundred metres, including basketball courts. From El Palo there are numerous opportunities for hiking, climbing, cycling in the mountains and on the coast and for day trips to the countryside, white mountain villages and towns. The beautiful old town of Málaga, which is connected to the port, offers sightseeing, gastronomy, botanical gardens, a beautiful market hall, shopping, museums, theatre and gastronomy in a very small area. Day trips are possible, e.g. to Antequera (El Torcal), Granada, Córdoba, the natural beaches of Maro, for the adventurous the Caminito del Rey or of course to the many white mountain villages. Parking: The house is located in a quiet one-way street with little traffic. Unloading in front of the house is not a problem. In the neighbourhood you can park for free in the quiet streets. Sometimes you have to make a few rounds, but after a few minutes you can always find something. From the airport: Public Taxi next to arrivals (also large-capacity taxis up to 8 people if available), child seats not always available. Or book a private taxi for groups online e.g. suntransfers (choose "El Palo" as destination). By public transport also good and cheap connections by train and bus (in total aprox. 50 min) Rental cars: Beware of cheap offers via platforms (surcharges on pick-up). We have had good experiences with e.g. allincarhire (airport shuttle).
