We are a Dutch couple, originally drawn to the quiet beauty and warm rhythm of Andalusia. After years of dreaming about a slower, more intentional way of living, we found our place here among the olive groves, rolling hills, and endless sunlight. Cortijo Sol y Olivo began as our personal retreat, a place to breathe, reset and reconnect with what truly matters. Now, we felt inspired to share this feeling with others. What started as a dream slowly became a sanctuary for guests seeking peace, privacy, and the gentle pace of life in the campo.

Ideally located, just 50 minutes from Granada Airport and 1 hour 20 minutes from Málaga Airport, it is perfect for exploring Andalusia’s highlights, including Granada, Córdoba, Sevilla, Antequera, Priego de Córdoba, Montefrío and the nearby Iznájar lake. Step outside and you are immediately in the Andalusian countryside. Walking routes begin at the property, and the nearby Sierras Subbéticas Natural Park is home to one of Europe’s largest colonies of griffon vultures. This is a place to reconnect with nature, silence and yourself. Algarinejo is a 15-minute drive away, a quiet and authentic Moorish village with local bars and restaurants, including a fine tasting-menu restaurant showcasing regional cuisine.
