La casa del Consul, is a gay friendly maison de charme where you will find your own private modern apartment, stylishly designed and fully functional, a secret intimate hideaway where to relax, as well as plenty of public areas dedicated to our guests around our patio, in the chill-out lounges, you can take a rest from the heat of the mid-day sun. As an alternative, head up to the roof terrace where you will be able to enjoy our honesty bar, while getting some much needed downtime in the Jacuzzi. All common areas are designed for your confort, whether you decide to use them for breakfast or for an aperitif before heading out at night.

Eric and Vittore, your hosts, aim to make you feel at home in our fantastic house, help you discover a typical XVIII century Merchant house from Cadiz, share our passion for this awesome city and above all facilitate your meeting other like-minded travellers, whether you’re on a romantic getaway with your partner or on a fun trip with friends

La Casa del Consul is situated in Plaza de Espana, a landmark garden square 10 minutes walking from the train station. Right in the old town centre, and minutes away from restaurants, bars and clubs, the square is very quiet, so that our guests can enjoy Cadiz lively nights while coming back to a peaceful rest. The nearest town beach, la Caleta is 20 minutes walking, while public transport to playa Santa Maria and playa Victoria leaves from the same square. Museums and shops are just around the corner.
