Neighborhood info

The Perchel neighborhood, mentioned in Don Quixote de la Mancha as 'los percheles de Málaga', was historically linked to fishing and today is located in the heart of the city, next to the train station, the port and the historic center. A few meters from the accommodation is the Parish of Our Lady of Carmen, founded as a Carmelite convent in the sixteenth century and converted into a parish in the nineteenth century, now houses one of the main images of the Spanish Holy Week and patron of fishermen.
