La Posada Amena offers 8 spacious rustic rooms with private bathrooms. Located in a completely renovated village house on the edge of the center of Carcabuey with a view of the Sierras Subbéticas. You can relax and unwind in your comfortable room, on one of the terraces, in the massage room or in the plunge pool (open from Juni till September). In addition to breakfast, it is also possible to use an Honesty Bar and from the Posada, you can walk straight into the village where Bars and Restaurants can be found. In the village itself you can enjoy the cosiness, the nice terraces and the beautiful views from the castle of Arab origin which towers high above the village. However, Carcabuey is also a lively village which can be experienced during one of the many special celebrations (Easter of the Moraos, Corpus Christi, Feria Real, etc ...)

The typical white Andalusian village of Carcabuey is located on the edge of the Sierras Subbéticas National Park, where many walking and cycling routes have been set out. But, also other outdoor activities are available such as rafting, via ferrata, kayaking, bird watching and fishing. You can swim at a few waterfalls nearby or at the public swimming pool at a 5-minute walk from the Posada. Culinary trips can be made to Montilla (Wine Route), Rute (Anise Distillery) and to the Almazaras de la Subbética in Carcabuey for a tour and tasting of the world's no.1 award-winning olive oil by the WBOO! In the vicinity are many other charming white villages and towns which are certainly worth a visit. Prefer the bustle of a big city? The favorable location exactly inbetween Seville, Córdoba, Málaga and Granada makes a one-day city trip possible. From the Posada you could even go skiing for a day in the Sierra Nevada or visit one of the various Mediterranean beaches.
