The Lankarifa Apartment is a penthouse stile flat with a full equipped kitchen, 2 bedrooms, living-dining area en-suite as well as a covered terrace with wooden floor and dining table. The 60m/2 roof terrace provides you with stunning views to Africa on your left and the Los Lances beach strip until the dune of Punta Paloma to your right; it is accessible by a spiral staircase from the terrace. The roof terrace is equipped with a pergola with confortable chill-out sofa and sunbeds and is decorated with plants. There is a private garden with a big swimming pool and a small pool for kids from June until September. Guests can park in the private underground parking of the building and leave sports equipment in the garage box. An elevator takes you up to the 2nd floor to the apartment. In the basement of the building is a mini-market as well as an excellent cafeteria/bread-shop. The 'Balcon de Europa' building is situated in the new part of town, called 'La Marina', only a few steps away from the beach. It is a short walk to the center of town and only 5 minutes away from supermarkets, restaurants, farmacy, etc Ideal for families with 2 children or for 4 adult persons
The close area is residential, without any loud bars nor discotheques. There are a couple of coffee-shops and restaurants within walking distance at the beach promenade. A farmacy, yoga center, bike and kitesurf rentals and schools are just around the corner. The old part of town provides a huge variety of restaurants, tapa-bars, drink-bars etc as well as all kinds of shops and the local market, where fresh supplies are offered. Sight seeing places like the 'Puerta de Jerez' gate, the 'Castillo de Guzman' castle, 'Iglesia de San Mateo' church. Take a walk to the 'Isla de las Palomas' southernmost tip of Tarifa town and see the cristal clear water of Playa Chica. The sandy beach in front of the apartment is a swimmers zone from mid June - mid September; during the rest of the year one may practice all water-sports without restriction. Get more information at any kite-school about sport-zones, dangerous currents etc. Check out Playa Valdevaqueros, Arte Vida, Los Lances Norte and Bolonia. Mounting biking or hiking can be practised in the nearby mountains of the natural park 'Los Alcornocales. Contact the Oficina de Turismo in town for any question
