This house is set in wooded grounds on a remarkable marriage site on the banks of the Loire. You will be welcomed by Myriam and Christophe, who have been renovating this gîte for several months and hope you will enjoy this little haven of peace.

Property info

If you're reading this, then the gîte la plume is for you. You can relax with your family, friends or colleagues in the wooded park where the birds sing, the squirrels climb the trees and you can even see a roe deer. You'll be able to relax while others go sightseeing. The gîte has 4 bedrooms, 3 of which have en-suite bathrooms, all of which are equipped with towels. The bedrooms can be divided into several beds (already made up when you arrive). The air-conditioning is in the veranda, which is very pleasant for sharing meals while contemplating the park. There is also a large terrace upstairs where you can recharge your batteries. The gîte has been completely renovated by local companies using French materials. A fully-equipped kitchen allows you to treat yourself to a meal or continental breakfast at the restaurant La Bonne Étape, 10 metres from the gîte (bread and pastries can be ordered). A very comfortable 2-seater sofa bed is available in the lounge. Accessible by bike, horse, motorbike and even car. There is a large garage with sockets for charging electric bikes or simply storing your car.Shopping area 1km away with bakery, producer's shop, rapid electric recharging etc... accessible by bike or car from the Loire.You'll understand that by choosing La Plume, you won't lack for anything and especially not for a break from routine.

Neighborhood info

This gîte is close to the châteaux of the Loire, 2.7km from the royal châteaux of Amboise and Clos Lucé, but you can also go walking, fishing or canoeing on the Loire, which is just 20 metres away. There are some lovely walks along the hillsides to the châteaux. The Loire by bike is 500 metres away. The restaurant La bonne étape is 2 metres away, so you can enjoy a meal and also have breakfast... there are many other things to see nearby, such as the art glassworks.
