Places to visit - Clacton On Sea, Walton On The Naze, Frinton On Sea with lovely sandy beaches are a ten minute drive with all the facilities of a busy seaside town. The historic City of Colchester with its castle and Roman wall is a twenty minute drive. Visit Colchester Zoo, one of the largest in Europe, a full day out. Constable country in Dedham is a half hour drive, picnic by the river or hire boats on the river Stour, or take a leisurely cruise along the river by an electric boat. St Osyth is a 10 minute drive where you can book in at Curve Water Sports for a day of wakeboarding, kayaking, paddle boarding or enjoying the inflatable water park. There are two theatres in Clacton showing weekly tribute bands, plays & comedians. Locally we have pubs & restaurants and you are welcome to order in a takeaway.
