Property info

A 2 bedroom, 2 storey semi-detached holiday cottage in a prime location within Lochgoilhead village. With loch and mountain views, easy walking to the Goil Inn and the start of a number of marked walking trails, 1 Planetree ticks a lot of boxes.

Neighborhood info

Lochgoilhead is within the Loch Lomond and The Trossachs National Park and is widely considered to be one of the most beautiful areas in Argyll and in Scotland as a whole. (Wikipedia) Located at the head of Loch Goil - a tidal sea loch, backed by mountains and forests. We like to think this place is pretty special. Accessed via a 6-mile single track road (with passing places) from the viewpoint of the Rest and be Thankful. A wonderful way to arrive. The village has a Post Office and small grocery store, a Costcutter mini-market (1 mile away), Bowling Green, Tennis Court, Village Hall and a Dr’s Surgery. Take to the hills on a number of marked walking trails. Hire a boat for fishing, nature watching and enjoying the views. The local leisure centre has a 25m indoor swimming pool, indoor play area and a range of activities. 9-hole golf course. All open to the public on a pay as you go basis.
