The house is beautiful (and ok to use), especially the living room which has an amazing view of the lake. The owner (Marcin?) was so helpful and all of his suggestions were great. Breakfast, cooked by Marcin, is incredible and healthy! It was quiet, comfy and had everything you would want or need!

Breakfast was delicious. Cold starters (yogurt with fruit) and pastries on buffet table then hot breakfast to order. Live entertainment in the bar on Friday was fabulous. Dinner was delicious and then we stayed to watch Starsky perform until the bar closed.

The room was beautiful and well-equipped with everything you might need, including coffee and tea. When I asked if the sofa bed could be prepared, it was already set up for our arrival. My mom and I truly enjoyed our stay at this location.

Beautiful 400 year old inn!!! Loved the food, drink, and accommodations. The staff made sure we were warm and well fed when we spent a day indoors while storm Eowyn shut down the country - lovely to have a hot drink inside and watch the wind and rain from inside the cozy pub

A nice place in the middle of nature, good for hiking - but dont expect that you can swim in this lake! No space or beach to swim and aquatic plants all over the place. There are signs saying that swimming is forbidden ...

There's ample opportunity for walks in the area, either gentler or more rugged. As the loch is on your doorstep, if you're a watersports enthusiast you can enjoy kayaking, paddle boarding or swimming (though not at the head of the loch). Getting out of Lochgoilhead means driving up a steep, singletrack road which tends to deter travelling from the immediate area. Another singletrack road (known as Hell's Glen) cuts across to Loch Long with scope for visiting other places such as Inveraray. The west of Scotland can often be wet (as it was when we were there), so it's advisable to come prepared with suitable clothing - and in the midge season (May to end September approx), mideg repellent!

Our stay at Rowan House B&B was absolutely fantastic! The room was spotless, with a stunning view from the window, and we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Anna was incredibly responsive and provided great local recommendations, making our time even more enjoyable. Breakfast was delicious. The surrounding landscape views were absolutely beautiful! Everything was beyond our expectations. We would highly recommend this and can't wait to come back again!

Lochgoilhead is absolutely stunning! The scenery is amazing! Drimsynie Village is great. We had a lovely meal there. The staff are lovely. We took a walk to The Boatshed, where we had a lovely lunch with beautiful views of the Loch. Again the staff were great. We would also recommend dinner at the Goil Inn....the scampi was to die for.

Wonderful location on Loch Goil, and Lochgoilhead is a lovely little village. Easy to get to places and The Goil Inn down the road is a treat. We enjoyed the hot tub very much and stargazing on clear evenings were a bonus. We even saw a couple of shooting stars! The cottage is super clean, warm and has everything you need for a self-catering holiday. Comfy bed. WiFi was very good too as I had to work one day and it worked perfectly.

The room was excellent; of a large size, with good facilities. The views from the hotel were excellent, joyous in summer the sun. The bar had a fair choice of beers, the restaurant sold good food at a reasonable price. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. Whilst we didn't make use, the swimming pool was a welcome feature. A very pleasant offer.

The views were amazing and it was so peaceful. The hotel inside was lovely, restaurant had lovely food. Stayed in a gold caravan which was nice but definitely not as nice as a premium.
