Tylney House is an elegant home comprising of 4 tastefully decorated bedrooms, 2 family bathrooms, an elegant living and dining room, and a well-equipped kitchen. Set over 3 floors, this important house was designed by the famous architect John Wood in 1729, and a friend of Jane Austen (Earl Tylney) once lived here. LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION Tylney House is the most centrally located holiday let in Bath, yet tucked away on a quiet street near Queen’s Square. Bath is a compact city, and staying in the very centre means everything is just a short stroll away. The Roman Baths, Pump Rooms, Abbey, Thermae Spa, excellent restaurants, and eclectic shops are all within a five-minute walk. Even the train station and the Royal Crescent are only about ten minutes on foot. SPACIOUS ACCOMMODATION: 4 Bedrooms, 2.5 Bathrooms: Tylney House has 4 good-sized bedrooms that comfortably sleeps up to 12 guests. We have a large family bathroom and a shower room on the top floor. For your convenience, there is a bathroom/toilet on each floor. All the beds have pocket-sprung mattresses and are made with crisp, super-soft Egyptian cotton bed linen for a great night's sleep. To maximise the flexibility of sleeping arrangements, single beds can be joined to form super-king beds. 1st Bedroom: Four single beds plus futon - sleeps 5 2nd Bedroom: Double bed - sleeps 2 3rd Bedroom: Two single beds - sleeps 2 4th Bedroom: Two single beds - sleeps 2 Living Room: Comfortable futon bed -fold away during day daytime to maximise space - sleeps 1 - all single beds can form a super-king bed. The futons are very comfortable The spacious period Living Room provides a delightful space for entertaining or a peaceful refuge and a great base to explore the city. There is a 50" smart TV.
