The picturesque village of Pagham is situated between the sea and land on the English border. This small community, perched on the harbour, has a designated Wildlife Reserve, allowing nature to flourish and making it a great place for birdwatchers. Along with shops, a choice of three ale and beer taverns, and St. Thomas à Becket, one of the greatest churches of its sort, the village also contains many bungalow homes made from former railroad carriages. Along the shore is a shingle beach that has a reputation for being one of the sunniest spots in the UK. Swimming, sailing, windsurfing, walking, and visiting the historical Mulberry Harbour platform are all excellent beach activities.
