Our Windrush Turret Lodge looks a bit like a windmill without sails! We are set on 3 lakes in a small secure and gated holiday home development with superb onsite facilities ideal for families and all ages. Onsite facilities include, tennis courts, table tennis, indoor games room, outside play areas, football goals and lovely nature walking trails as the lakes offer home to many wildfowl and wildlife. Paddleboarding and kayaking are allowed on Windrush Lake. It is very close to the village of South Cerney and its local pubs. We are opposite the De Vere Hotel, the popular 'Boathouse Restaurant', Gastro Pub & Gateway Café that offers excellent breakfasts if you don't want to cook it yourself. Our lakeside lodge is a fully equipped home: lovely living relaxing living area, excellent kitchen with all facilities you need, large fridges, freezer, microwave/oven, coffee maker & dishwasher. There is an inviting hot-tub set at 38 degrees, BBQ, seating & bean bags on the large decking area by the lake. The fishing is superb on all three lakes, including carp, coarse and fly fishing and very well stocked.

The Cotswold Lakes area is a wonderful location for a relaxing holiday by the lakes in the heart of the Cotswolds countryside. There are 180 lakes so the area is very flat, perfect for walking, cycling, wildlife and fishing. You can be as busy and energetic as you like, go fishing, try canoeing, stand up paddleboarding, waterskiing, cycling, walking, birdwatching and visiting many of the lovely local historic sites, exploring the Cotswolds or just relaxing by the lakeside? Over the road from our lodge, there is a very good restaurant, hotel with spa facilities, an excellent cafe, pizza takeaway and lakeside bar area all within short walking distance. Next to Windrush & Isis Lakes is the superb watersports and outdoor pursuits facility with a lovely lakeside cafe and waterskiing, ringos and wakeboarding on the adjacent lake. Roman Mosaic and Museum...Castles at Sudeley. Shopping? Cheltenham or Cirencester are both great or go either of the Designer Shopping Outlets ...Gloucester Quays and Swindon. Or just a leisurely walk around and finishing with a pub lunch in one of the local picturesque Cotswolds villages. Check out some of the lovely local cafe's and restaurants nearby too.
