We are Mark and Steph and have had the bar for approx 10 years. The rooms are a new addition to our business and offer a perfect city break. Mark is an electrician by trade so most of the day to day management of the bar is down to Steph. We have made some great friends through the business and also met some characters!!!

The rooms are singles with a shared bathroom and kitchenette which offers tea/coffee making a fridge,microwave,wifi. Each room has a TV. There is plenty of street parking close to the bar. The rooms are situated on the second floor and there isnt a lift.Due to the nature of the business the rooms are not suitable for children. The White room is a small double with an ensuite shower and basin and the WC is next door to the room. The bar can sometimes be lively and noisy depending on what entertainment we have on and ofcourse you are welcome to join us. We are a minute from the Kings Theatre and many other independant bars and restaurants all offering there own unique style of entertainment. We are also close to Southsea seafront which is a lovely way to spend an afternoon. The historic Dockyard is near and Gunwharf Quays for shopping,eating and cinemas. The Portsmouth/Southsea station is approximatley 2 miles away and there is a bus stop right outside the bar which will take you to all the local sights. If you fancy an adventure you can catch the hovercraft or ferry to the Isle of Wight and the main Ferry port boasts sailings to France and Spain which again is about 2 miles away. We are therefore perfect for a city break,travelling contractors or just visiting friends and family. You have your own entrance so you can come and go as you please. The entrance to the rooms has a door code please contact the owners for this. Our bar is open Wednesday to Sunday and we have a lovely menu if you fancy a bite to eat. We host a range of different nights including open mic nights.
