Adhurst Yurts is a genuinely off,grid woodland retreat where life slows down on purpose. There is no Wi,Fi, no mains electricity and no sockets in the accommodation. Instead you'll find lantern light, wood burners, campfires and peaceful woodland all around you. We've created Adhurst for people who want to step away from constant notifications and reconnect with nature, family and friends. If you're looking for streaming, scrolling or working remotely, we may not be the right place for you. If the idea of cooking over a fire, watching the stars and waking to birdsong appeals, you'll probably love it.

Adhurst Yurts is a small woodland glamping retreat hidden within a private estate in the South Downs National Park. Each yurt or cabin sits in its own woodland clearing, offering privacy, space and a genuine connection with nature. Life here is deliberately simple. There is no WiFi and NO MAINS ELECTRICITY in the accommodation. Instead you'll find wood burners, lantern light, campfires, outdoor cooking and the quiet of the woodland around you. Every accommodation has its own covered safari kitchen with running water, a gas hob, cookware, BBQ and a fire bowl. A complimentary basket of firewood is provided for your first evening, with additional wood available to purchase. We provide two portable USB battery packs per accommodation for charging phones and small devices. Guests also have access to a chest freezer for refreezing ice packs and keeping cool boxes topped up during their stay. Families and dogs are welcome. Additional folding camp beds can be provided for children or extra guests, and dogs are welcome by prior arrangement for a fee. Willow Yurt and Rother Yurt each include a separate interconnected bathing yurt with a beautiful clawfoot bath. Chestnut Yurt and Coppicer's Cabin have private shower and toilet facilities, while the remaining yurts share nearby woodland showers and compost loos. Guests also have access to an accessible wet room near the tennis court, complete with a hot shower, flushing toilet and hairdryer. Explore woodland paths, enjoy pond dipping in the River Rother, visit local pubs and farm shops, or simply spend an evening around the fire. Most people arrive wondering whether they'll miss modern conveniences. Most leave wondering why life isn't always this simple.
