Located on the edge of the village of Llanuwchllyn, at the end of a private drive, Afonfa is the perfect cottage for families and groups. The semi-detached cottage has three bedrooms and can sleep a total of six people. The ground floor of this fully refurbished cottage has a large kitchen diner, with comfortable lounge area with two sofas and flat screen TV. The separate utility room has a washing machine, dryer and toilet. The first floor family bathroom has a separate shower and bath.

Llanuwchlyyn provides the perfect base for exploring LLyn Tegid, Snowdonia and the Berwyn Mountains. The nearest access to the Lake is at Llangower which is 2 miles from the cottage. Watersport equipment rentals are available in Bala, which is less than 15 minutes drive away. The village pub, Yr Eagles serves good pub food and doubles as a shop during the day selling a wide range of provisions. A car is advisable to really appreciate all the sights that Snowdonia has to offer but is not essential. The cottage is a 5 minute walk to the T3 bus stop which runs between Wrexham and Barmouth. The drive down to the cottage is steep and a little uneven
