What an amazing property. We were greeted with an amazing staff who were not only accommodating but personable. Really liked Kenneth. He made us feel at home. Being a fan of the show the prisoner, it felt otherworldly to be in this setting. Highly, highly recommended. Our room was not ready, so we were moved up to a two bedroom suite that overlooked the courtyard which made our stay so much more enjoyable.

Centrally located on the high street, close to all the facilities. Easy check-in through the ground floor restaurant - we ate here and good value and excellent food. We were on the upper floor, but the helpful staff carries the luggage, which was appreciated. Pleasant views from the window, to the south across the bay. Room was clean and the bed comfy. Despite being on the top floor there was good pressure in the shower. Overall, an excellent stay.

Fantastic location, walkable distance from the sea and set in tranquil surroundings. The caravan was spacious, very clean and our two Labradors were made most welcome. The facilities in the caravan were great and there is everything you need to cook etc. The host was super friendly and very helpful with any advice we needed. We felt relaxed, safe and very well looked after during our stay. This is a little gem and would definitely use again.

After having ridden for 5 hours on our motor bikes, I discovered that I had made a booking date error. The staff (Rosalyn, and I guess the manager who's name I didn't get) were so very helpful, and used the powers that they had to get us a room in what was a fully booked out hotel. Thanks so much guys, you truly saved the day.

Llanberis is a delightful village with plenty of eateries and interesting areas; the lake was an absolute delight, the mountain railway was too expensive for my needs and the station area quite tacky, but that’s just my opinion.

The town is down at heel and the high street is grim.

The town is down at heel and the high street is grim. I really cannot see that devolution has done anything for this town. It’s a one horse town that the horse has abandoned! We liked the little Italian restaurant at the harbour club where the staff were excellent and the food was really good. However, it’s very small and extremely hard to get a table as there are so few places to eat in Porthmadog. I will not return to this town and only stayed here to visit the nearby Portmeirion which was lovely and where I wanted to stay but was outvoted by my husband due to the expense. Having stayed in Porthmadog he now says he will agree to booking Portmeirion accommodation should we ever return. That tells you everything about the “charms” of Porthmadog!

The best part of Bangor is great connectivity of public transport. You can dive into Snowdonia areas via Sherpa buses, you can get direct trains to London, you can easily goto Holyhead for people travelling to Ireland, it is easier to commute from there. Bangor has a beautiful sea view, and is very clean and scenic area.

Dolgellau is a good base if you're visiting North Wales. Plenty of accommodation and places to eat. Good walks and climbs (e.g. Precipice Walk, Penmaenpool and Cader Idris) in the near vicinity and lovely views of the surrounding area and Snowdonia.

We loved this village; dog friendly shops, gift shops, clothing shops, ice cream parlous, pizzeria, bars, pubs, and a tapas restaurant! A huge dog-friendly beach, with calm and warm sea (we visited July) where we spent long days relaxing, snorkelling, and body boarding. Easy to visit nearby towns via train. Beautiful coastline with stunning hills and forests. We're so keen to return.
