Even though the house was on the main road through Criccieth, it was extremely well insulated so we were unaware of any traffic noise. The views from the back of the house were of the mountains and the glorious Cardigan Bay. We enjoyed the little terrace at the back with table and chairs. Luckily we could sit out as the weather was fair. The house was extremely well equipped with everything one could need.

Criccieth itself is wonderful for a short stay, great little castle and a good base to explore the surrounding areas. Beware of the beach though, there is a sewer outflow by the small breakwater, lots of used/flushed condoms etc, quite disgusting .

Alas so busy visiting other places on our list we had little time to have a good look around Cricceth. The castle is a beautiful and prominent attraction and is definitely one to visit. Parking is easy to find and tariffs not excessive.

Perfect for a peaceful, relaxed get away. Beaches were very quiet eith only a few people on them even when the weather was warm and sunny. There is the best ice cream shop iv ever been to called Cadwaladers. The ice cream is amazing. The cafe has window seats with a view over the beach. Prices are reasonable too. I looked around the castle ruins which was great. There were information plaques around the ruins which were very interesting, it was on the dearer side in my opinion but I would still recommend doing it.

Quiet and pleasant coastal town it's central to visiting the rest of the area. There are some great walks around here access to the coastal path and only a 30 minute drive to the Lynn peninsula. Good food places to eat the food at the prince of Wales pub is great.

It was bank holiday Sunday..lot.of restuarants just do sunday roast but are other options..we had beautiful fish & chips takeaway which we ate on the beach and amazing homemade gelato from man with cart at the beachfront. Another food place in the centre had various street food options, bar & live music, can imagine would be lively in the summer. Alas the Castle ruins are Cadw managed so not free or open to visit late..would be super to see aunset from.up there. Beach is rocky but scenic and just big enough for a little walk. Lovely little town.

Small village with a commanding ruined castle with a pebble...

Small village with a commanding ruined castle with a pebble beach on one side and countryside on the other. It has several pubs and restaurants and independent shops including a great bakery and local butchers. Great walks on the doorstep including Wales coastal path and bus and train links to other towns and villages on the coast.

Lovely house, like a home from home, well equipped kitchen, comfy beds, modern bathroom. The house is within walking distance of the beach and the centre of Criccieth. We loved Y Maes, a focal point of the town. Great public transport links via the train and bus. Bethan was a great host. Loved the welcome package of milk, Welsh cakes and a chilled bottle of Prosecco.

We had such a lovely relaxing one night stay at Bron Eifion it really is a beautiful hotel is such peaceful surroundings. Mary and her husband are wonderful hosts so welcoming we would definitely recommend! Great quality dinner menu at reasonable prices and the breakfast was plentiful and delicious!!

Have stayed here several times. The hotel is spotless, the new menu in the restaurant very good and the breakfasts are excellent. It is an hotel that does what it says on the tin and I highly recommend it.
