This place was just beautiful, everything was absolutely spotless and we had everything that we needed! It felt like it was our own little home for the few days that we stayed. All facilities are there, lovely kitchen area, living room, dining area, cute outdoor space with log fire and a wonderful bedroom! The hosts were brilliant and so easy to contact if we needed anything (not that we did as everything was just perfect!) The location is excellent, bang in the middle of Bala Main Street. We are already hoping to stay again in the future!

I loved the location, so much to do, incredible walks, cycle...

I loved the location, so much to do, incredible walks, cycle rides, friendly people, lovely host. Enjoyed seeing the RAF jets flying over the lake. Visited Porthmieron superb. Bala town is close by with several places to eat. Fantastic place to stay with fabulous view, lots of wildlife very relaxing.

Bala is a small welsh town, near to snowdonia national park...

Bala is a small welsh town, near to snowdonia national park and towns such as Dolgellau and Llangollen. Theres a lovely lake, sports centre with pool and a finish style suana nearby. The national whitewater centre is just up the road. Thers two reasoanble sized suopermarkets, lots of local walks including some along the river.

We are very fond of Bala and the environs and the good...

We are very fond of Bala and the environs and the good little heritage railway that runs alongside the lske. We visit Bala about twice a year for long weekends and always take a trip on the railway. There are plenty of activities, such as canoeing and a white water rafting centre on the river and sailing on the lake, climbing the mountains all around and walking generally. The shopping high street in Bala is lively and packed with excellent interesting and useful shops. Good hotels and restaurants. So plenty to do!

Bala is a very nice little cosy Welsh Town.

Bala is a very nice little cosy Welsh Town. The Bala Lake is just a superb place to visit, walk, kayak if you have got young children with you. There's a lovely cafeteria on spot, where you can have excellent home cooked food, tea, coffee, delicious savouries & snacks. We loved it. There's Gym, Sauna as well. The walking trail is just so beautiful, the lake is just so serene and picturesque.

We were there for a lazy and relaxing break, didn't venture out. But there's plenty of activities to do nearby like zip world, white water rafting, fishing, hiking. There's something for everyone, the list is endless or do nothing like us!

Bala is a lovely town at the end of the lake.

Bala is a lovely town at the end of the lake. It seems to consist mainly of one high Street with various shops, pubs and eateries. The lake is beautiful. We hired a double kayak which cost 40.00ph and the whole hiring process was super easy. We also did the steam train ride along the lake which was lovely. There's lots more to explore so I'd definitely go back for a couple of days and explore the area some more.

We only live just over an hour away from Bala and was attending an an open day on a farm just outside the town, we chose Plas y Dre as we did not want to drive home late and were lucky a room was a available, we had a lovely comfortable clean room with a huge shower in the ensuite comfy bed and it was lovely and warm. Nice choice of breakfast my scrambled eggs on toast was cooked really nice and my husbands full English the same, we had a very pleasant young man serving us he is a credit to the hotel, would be very happy to stay again.

Almost everything about Pale Hall is exceptional. It's a gorgeous, comfortable and very aspirational space. The 1929 Bentley out front kind of set the scene! The outdoor spaces, terrace and gym areas are beyond any ordinary hotel. The food is amazing, both breakfast and dinner. The pub at the end of the driveway, The Bryntirion Inn (which I believe is also under the same ownership) also serves outstanding quality food.

Lovely modern hotel in Bala,large room with large shower, excellent staff, great food in the restaurant and a lovely breakfast in the morning, would recommend to anyone who's looking for somewhere to stay in the Bala area 10/10 from us two
