Amble Harbour retreats is less than a minutes walk to the harbour, harbour village, beach and other amenities including some amazing places to eat (some with products fresh from the sea) and drink whilst enjoying the fabulous surroundings. At the side of the property you will find The Harbour Hatch with seating area that serves a range of alcohol and hot drinks. Please note all rooms are on the upper floor apart from The Studio apartment and The Lobster Pot. From April 2026 there will be an indoor bar at the property and an outdoor patio on the back which both guests and the public can use. Opening hours will vary, although the bar will not be open late so guests are not disturbed .

Being Amble born and bred gives me great local knowledge of the best places to visit and eat. I enjoy keeping fit and cold water therapy, basically a good swim in the north sea. Married with two sons and two dogs that keep me very busy, you may see them at the guesthouse. I have always worked in customer facing roles and really look forward to welcoming you at the property and The Friendliest Port, that being Amble.

Amble harbour retreats is right next to the fish quay surrounded by excellent restaurants and drinking establishments to include a micro pub and new cocktail bar, an ice cream parlour, take aways and cafe's. The promenade and main street are also in close proximity.
