Hello, my name is Louise and I live at Anton House with my partner. I have owned Anton since 2005, and have always enjoyed meeting my guests and getting to know them. I have lived in Shrewsbury most of my life, so I have a wealth of knowledge about the town and its history. I can advise you of the many wonderful restaurants and cafes we have in the area, going on personal experience of course!

Property info

Anton House was originally built for a Victorian gentleman and his family in the 1890's, it was also used by a family of tailors for a duration and was known as "Patch House". Here at Anton House we offer you an experience that we ourselves would want when staying away from home. Those extra little touches and treats that make your stay memorable and special. This is our home so we want you to feel relaxed and welcome, all for a reasonable price. We use top quality ingredients in our breakfast too, from organic yogurts, muesli and porridge oats to the best dry cured back bacon and locally produced free range eggs. Or try our inventive Camembert special, a real treat.

Anton House is located in a residential neighbourhood, a short walking distance from the lively town centre. It is a safe town to wander around, and we were voted one of the friendliest towns in England, also one of the healthiest high streets, and have won many awards over the years for our pretty flower arrangements.
