Auchencairn Cottage is a 150 year old detached stone built home set in the pretty seaside village of Brora on the NC500, the popular route around the Highlands of Scotland, and 6K from Dunrobin Castle. The cottage has been renovated to a very high standard - a real home from home. This comfortable characterful cottage with free WiFi accommodates up to four people and has a large private garden with plenty of free secure parking. Inside there are lots of period features including an original fireplace and wooden floors, as well as some new additions including a large garden room with a log burning stove. The cottage is over two levels and has two double bedrooms, two bathrooms (one with a large bath the other has a shower), three reception rooms and a fully equipped kitchen. What’s included to make your stay as comfortable as possible - free superfast WiFi and the use of two smart TVs and a DVD player and DVD library; complimentary linen ( all bedding, towels and tea towels), free toilet and kitchen rolls and hand wash at each sink and a selection of cleaning materials; complimentary tea and coffee; and the use of two hairdryers.

I enjoy letting out my family home and look forward to welcoming you to this beautiful part of the world.

Brora is a pretty seaside village with the river Brora running through it. Clynelish distillery is welcoming to all visitors. Brora beach is a lovely spot for walking and relaxing with lovely views of the beaches and hills towards Helmsdale. Golf is very popular in Brora, and has a world class links golf course.
