We had a change of career a few years ago, and purchased a small number of holiday cottages in the Peak District. We were then asked by a number of owners to look after their cottage for them too. We work in the Peak District, so are always nearby on-call should you need any help or support during your stay. We are available during your stay should you need any help.

The very pretty village of Bonsall lies just south west of Matlock, hidden up in the limestone hills and surrounded by glorious scenery. The village is on the Limestone Way and on the Peak District Boundary Walk. Bakers Yard Cottage is a four bedroom stone built cottage situated on a quiet lane, close to the centre of Bonsall. The cottage has 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, an enclosed rear courtyard and has private parking for 1 car with additional on-street parking nearby: - Large cosy sitting room with log burning stove, Smart Colour TV - Spacious kitchen / diner to sit eight - Sleeps 8 in 4 bedrooms, all upstairs; - 1 king, with en-suite shower room, WC & basin, 2 double bedroom, 1 king bedroom - Large family bathroom upstairs with both a shower and bath - Fully fitted kitchen including a range cooker, microwave oven, fridge & freezer, dishwasher, and washing machine - Bed linen and towels included - Cot and highchair available on request - Well behaved Dogs welcome at no extra charge - Quiet secure rear courtyard, with furniture to the rear, - Small grassed garden area to the front of the cottage (not secure)

It occupies a beautiful position in a limestone gorge on the River Derwent, and boasts attractive riverside gardens and steep wooded hillsides. While Matlock is also extremely popular with visitors and offers a good selection of shops, pubs and restaurants.
