Jane is from the Isle of Skye and Jim is from Aberdeen. Jane has a background in the guest house industry, and is passionate about creating beautiful, clean accommodation that guests can relax and enjoy - choosing to come back time and time again😍. We love Drumnadrochit and are passionate to show you so much more than Urquhart Castle. Our village has so many stunning walks and a fantastic base to explore the Highlands.

The land of Nessie right on your door step - walking distance from our bed and breakfast. We are situated in a peaceful spot, a stroll from the village. Balmridge House sits at the foot of Balmacaan and Craigmarie woods with many different loops to discover. A viewpoint offers a stunning view of the famous Loch Ness. Glen Urquhart is 2 miles drive and a path can easily be found for those who wish to walk. The number 17 bus comes straight outside the gate for direct link to Inverness. Tour operators offer a great way for half or full day trips and of course the famous Loch offers famous cruise tours which can be booked in the village or directly.
