Tom and Louisa met whilst pursuing careers on super-yachts based in the Mediterranean, Caribbean, Pacific and Asia.. Louisa as a chef and Tom as and Engineer and Captain. After 10 years working at sea we married and a couple of years later started a family. Louisa grew up in a bed and breakfast and it seemed like a natural move to create one here at Barton Cottage, utilising all our years of catering and hospitality experience. We bought our 17th Century Thatched Cottage and have spent this time extending and renovating the house into what it is today. Tom, Louisa, Oliver and Emilia look forward to welcoming you to stay with us all here at Barton Cottage and wish you a lovely stay with us.

Property info

Barton cottage was originally three farm workers cottages which over the many years have been adapted into one cottage. The house is set back from Main Street behind a church. We have a large, enclosed garden. There are many walks on our doorstep and some further to local pubs, beaches. We offer attractive and comfortable accommodation. Our rooms have their own ensuite facilities, and each includes flat screen TV free Wi-Fi hot drinks facility, hair dryer. Guest parking is available at no additional cost directly outside the property.
