Bogle Dyke Cottage is a newly renovated dog friendly cottage, beautifully decorated in modern tones the cottage offers a lovely double bedroom with full bathroom (shower over) and open plan kitchen living space with feature wood burner. The cottage has oil fired heating so always cosy. The garden, with patio, is both south facing and secluded, the bird feeder is always busy with lots of lovely garden birds.
As a host my aim is to provide a base for your break which is cosy and welcoming. I live locally so I am always available to chat if requested but am happy to respect your privacy and let the cottage speak for me!
The cottage is part of the hamlet of Carronbridge, it is about 2 miles from Thornhill, a village, with great shops, restaurants and pubs! The cottage is perfectly located to explore all that Dumfries & Galloway has to offer, from the coast at Southerness through to Stranraer, the lovely towns of Moffat, Castle Douglas and Kirkcudbright, visitor attractions such as Drumlanrig Castle, Threave Castle, Caerlaverock Castle and Crawick Multiverse. The opportunities to walk, fish, cycle and canoe in the area are vast. The cottage is also well placed to head out to all which Glasgow & Edinburgh can offer, making a comfortable day trip.
