Newly redecorated throughout, our welcoming guesthouse on West Bay Road offers stylish, comfortable accommodation in the heart of Bridport. Each room includes a TV and private coffee station, perfect for relaxing after a day exploring West Bay and the Jurassic Coast. Just minutes from beaches, harbour walks, local markets, cafés, and pubs, it’s the ideal base for a peaceful Dorset getaway with modern comforts and a warm, home-from-home atmosphere. The property benefits from panoramic views overlooking the Brit Valley and the surrounding countryside to West Bay and Bridport. The property is within very short walking distance of the coastal resort, which lies on the stunning World Heritage coast with its bustling and picturesque harbour, three popular beaches and a good range of amenities, including shops, cafes restaurants and pubs. We are no smoking/vaping. We are no dogs at this moment in time.

Britmead Guest is well located towards the southern end of West Bay Road, a very safe, well established and sought after residential area, just five minutes from beautiful West Bay. There is easy access to open countryside from the guesthouse and many local walks to enjoy from the doorstep. The thriving and vibrant town of Bridport is only 1 mile away. It boasts an excellent and comprehensive range of facilities including both national and independent shops, more cafes, restaurants and pubs, the Electric Palace cinema and theatre, the Bridport Arts Centre, a leisure centre and supermarkets including Waitrose, Morrisons, Lidl and Co-op. There is also a twice weekly market on Wednesday and Saturday which has been likened to a "small Nottinghill". The seaside town of Weymouth is half an hour drive, The County town of Dorchester is around twenty minutes, and Axminster is around 10 minutes, both offering mainline rail services to London Waterloo.
