Brooklands Hideaway is a two-bed, two-bath second floor apartment in the Brooklands development, a high-spec conversion of a former hotel. Complimentary on-street disc parking provided. Close to Scarborough and all its amenities, this is a stunning location from which to explore the beach, town, Spa and the Yorkshire coast. On-street parking is readily available and free of charge with scratchcards (provided). To make sure we are a good fit for your trip, please be aware that there are no parties permitted at the property. We are on the second floor and there is no lift access and therefore not suited to those with mobility issues. There are also internal stairs leading down to second (twin) bedroom. Please note that the apartment is not specifically set up for small children (no locks on cupboards, no stair-gate on internal stairs etc.). Your children are very welcome as long as you are comfortable with this and take full responsibility for their welbeing in the flat. On street parking is available but is not allocated and therefore we cannot guarentee a spot directly outside during busy periods but this is rarely an issue. Although pets are not allowed, the owner's dog sometimes stops by for a visit so we cannot guarentee that the property will be suitable for those with allergies.

I'm Sally and I'm your host. I divide my time between Manchester and Scarborough. My parents (co-hosts) live nearby and can be reached by phone or email. We'll always be happy to pop by if there is anything we can help with.

What a perfect location! Esplanade Gardens is just off Scarborough's famous Esplanade, with stunning views and coastal walks on your doorstep. The shops of Ramshill are 5 mins walk away (including Sainsburys, deli, coffee shops, bakeries etc.) with Scarborough town centre 15 mins walking. The Cliff Lift to Scarborough Spa is at the end of the road. The South Bay can also be accessed on foot or by car. There are several restaurants and hotels around the Esplanade (such as The Crown Spa) which have great food options and restaurants. There are two hotel gyms within 5 mins walk which offer day passes. The apartment is directly opposite a small park and you can head to the beautiful sandy beaches and Cleveland Way for long walks. We are a five minute walk from the bus stop which takes you into town, the train station or towards Filey and Bridlington in the other direction. The train station is 13 mins walk away, and town centre 15 mins. We are in the perfect spot for Scarborough Spa, just two minutes from the Cliff Lift down to the Spa complex. The Cleveland Way can be joined via the coastal paths at the end of the Road.
