Cae Rhug is a beautifully restored barn conversion set in peaceful countryside on the edge of Snowdonia National Park, offering a relaxing retreat for families and groups. The house enjoys views across Llyn Tegid (Bala Lake) towards the Arenig mountains, with no other houses within half a mile, giving a real sense of privacy and space. Guests also have access to surrounding fields and the lakeside, and children especially enjoy spotting the little train that occasionally passes behind the house. The downstairs living areas are designed for comfort and sociable family time. At the heart of the home is a large open-plan kitchen, dining and living space with big windows and sliding doors that make the most of the surrounding views. The handmade kitchen is fully equipped and includes a wine fridge and a large fridge freezer with an ice machine. The dining table seats ten, with four additional seats at the breakfast bar on the island. A large corner sofa and woodburner make this the perfect space to gather in the evenings. There is also a separate snug with a TV, perfect for relaxing or giving children their own space. The covered outdoor area includes sofa seating and a six-person hot tub with views across the countryside, as well as a wood-fired sauna for guests to enjoy.
