What an amazing property. We were greeted with an amazing staff who were not only accommodating but personable. Really liked Kenneth. He made us feel at home. Being a fan of the show the prisoner, it felt otherworldly to be in this setting. Highly, highly recommended. Our room was not ready, so we were moved up to a two bedroom suite that overlooked the courtyard which made our stay so much more enjoyable.

Liam and rachel did a fantastic job making us feel welcome and at home! We loved the view of Harlech castle, the history and vintage feel of the hotel. Our room had space and all items needed. The hotel is not luxurious but has plenty of charm and hard working kind people! We ate a wonderful dinner and breakfast in the hotel and it was delicious and plentiful! We truly enjoyed our visit and the hotel.

Great location, close to porthmadog village that has groceries and shops to buy your needs, platinum lodge was an amazing place, very clean, has everything you need and very functional, nice terrace close to the river, the lodge was 86b.
