I have been owner of Packhouse, Farnham for 13 years now. This ever-changing interior and lifestyle store is set in a 400-year-old Grade II-listed building within the Surrey hills between Guildford and Farnham. It sells a huge variety of vintage, antique and one-off buys from furniture and interior finishing touches to gifts and fashion accessories. You’re bound to spot glimpses of this treasure trove of interior inspiration during your stay. My working life before Packhouse has been varied and colourful. My entrepreneurial spirit was set from a young age, and as a schoolgirl, I would make small gifts that my mum would take to her office and sell for me. Well, it’s one way to boost your pocket money! After leaving school I went straight to work in a little warehouse, then held down three jobs for many years to earn extra income. I’ve had various careers since, including being an administrator, courier, chauffeur, PC salesperson, window cleaner, antiques dealer and Firefighter, until taking over Packhouse in 2003. In my spare time I am a very keen sailor, mainly sailing in the Solent
