A contemporary self-contained extension with en-suite, connected to main house through a permanently locked door. The room is modern, clean and airy, having only been constructed just over one year ago. The room features a double sofa-bed that guests can use as sofa and they convert into a bed as they please. The room comes equipped with a smart-TV (32-inch), kettle (Tea & Coffee), toaster, microwave and fridge. Additionally, the room has a breakfast bar with two stools. Situated in a family-friendly neighbourhood, with plenty of green spaces, nature trails and excellent bus routes to the city centre. Supermarkets ( Co-op, Morrisons and convenience stores), several take-aways and eateries within just 5-10 minutes walk.
We love nothing more than providing a lovely place for people to explore our beautiful and cultured city. Having raised three wonderful kids in this city know all the best spots for nature, food and fun. Don't hesitate to ask us for recommendations, or tips for the city. In our spare time, my husband and I love nothing more than a quant walk in the countryside, a stroll down the beach and a nice fish & chips.
"Guests really enjoy the neighbourhood here in Edinburgh. It's a nice mix of history, green spaces, and good food that appeals to everyone. If you're into parks, Craigmillar Castle Park is nearby and perfect for a relaxing walk or picnic. The Pentlands, a series of green hills a few miles away, provide a beautiful nature trail. There are also plenty of great places to eat around here. From cozy pubs serving classic Scottish dishes to trendy cafes with tasty treats, you'll find something delicious just around the corner. And if you're a seafood fan, you'll want to check out places like The Fish market in Newhaven. For history buffs, there's Edinburgh Castle not too far away, and wandering around Old Town is like stepping back in time. And if you're interested in learning more about Scotland's past, the National Museum of Scotland is a must-visit. Overall, the neighborhood has a bit of everything, and guests really appreciate the convenience and charm of Edinburgh.
