Cara is a small, personal guesthouse, current owners celebrating 15 years in business this year. We have many, many repeat customers that we consider friends.

Property info

The Cara Guesthouse is directly on the sea front in Whitley bay with fantastic views over the Northumberland coastlne. Buses across the street, and metro short walk make it ideal place to visit the seaside while being short walk from Whitley bay town centre and 20 minutes from busy Newcastle.

Neighborhood info

Our guesthouse is located on the a front, across from beautiful north east coastline. Saint Mary's lighthouse is a short walk along with local fish and chips, ice cream, amusements, Whitley bay playhouse, a park with water play in the summer and a skateboarding park for the kids. Buses across the street that will take you all over the north east to explore!
