Your choices for walks, eating out, spa breaks, golf trips, and days with the kids are endless! Carpenters Cottage is the perfect place to switch off from your busy lives and enjoy quality time with your family and friends.

Neighborhood info

Carpenters Cottage offers the best of both worlds, peaceful part of the Lake District but only a 20-minute drive into the hustle and bustle of the Lakes. You can also get around by train which is just a minute walk to Kendal station. We don’t offer parking but there are many places on all the surrounding streets. Once you’ve booked with us, I can send you some recommendations for parking, all less than a 5 minute walk away. There is really no need to use your car again once you’ve parked up. You can jump on the Bus route 555 and travel all around the Lakes or jump on the train just round the corner. Or stay local, Kendal hosting a huge variety of different shops, pubs and cafes.
