We are The Binks Family, Richard, Caroline, Alan and Mary. We live in Silverdale just down the Bay from Arnside and run The Silverdale Hotel, a busy pub with 9 bedrooms. We came up here in 2016 and fell in love with the area so when it came to buying a a place to holiday let we knew that we wanted to share our love of the place with as many people as possible. Arnside is the slightly busier neighbour of sleepy Silverdale and we knew that it was an ideal location for a holiday property. Being in the hospitality industry already we like to think that we know what people need to enjoy their stay so we have applied these same thoughts into making Carr Garth a place that we hope people want to come back to again and again! We are a family run business so you will deal directly with one of us not just a faceless person on the end of a telephone, infact you can come and visit us at our pub where you will enjoy a discount scheme setup just for our guests, so come and say hi! Richard loves Arnside, so much he so that he is a Coastguard Rescue Officer at the Arnside Coastguard Station just along the promenade. So come and enjoy yourselves! We can't wait to meet you.

Carr Garth is a property with lots of character, stone built and set on an elevated position in Arnside you will enjoy fantastic views of Morecambe Bay where you can watch the famous Arnside Bore as the tide comes in. Set over three floors Carr Garth has plenty of space and areas to sit and relax. As you enter the front door you will come into an area with two leather wing back chairs which we call The Library, as its a lovely place to sit and read. Then turning right you come to the living room with brass feature lights, a three seater leather sofa, a powered recliner leather arm chair and a large SMART TV. You will be able to enjoy the superfast FIBRE Broadband all over the house so you can stream all your favourite TV Shows or music. On this floor is the kitchen with a gas hob, electric oven, built in fridge, dishwasher and microwave. Obviously there is a kettle and all the mugs, plates, cutlery etc you need to cater for yourselves too. Next to the kitchen is the garden room, once the small garden of the property this room now has a glass ceiling and is a light and airy space where you will find your handmade dining table and bench seats an ideal space for breakfasts and dinners alike! Off this room is a utility room with a tall fridge freezer, washing machine and tumble dryer and a separate toilet with vanity sink. Upstairs on the first floor you will find a single bedroom, a twin bedroom and the family bathroom with a large walk-in shower. Then upwards to the top floor where there is the double master bedroom with the most amazing views across The Bay! All the beds have the most comfortable mattresses we could find, Rest Assured Mattresses are made by Silent Night and we chose them not just because they are lovely and comfortable but they are made in Barnoldswick, Lancashire so we believe in buying locally! Arnside is an unspoilt, holiday resort on the estuary where the River Kent enters Morecambe Bay. This former fishing port has retained many of the features from its past. The beautiful pier and port areas of the town offer stunning views across Morecambe Bay as well as providing an enduring reminder of Arnside’s illustrious history. It is a haven for birds, and the surrounding countryside contains a wealth of flora and fauna.
