Situated just 5 minutes' walk from Chester city centre, this ground floor apartment has been completely refurbished to the highest standard and offers great self-catering accommodation in stunning surroundings. Situated in historic Handbridge, guests can enjoy views of the river Dee and riverside walks, heading over the Old Dee Bridge into Chester city centre.

I have a passion for property and love meeting new people. Bookingcom allows me to combine these things, along with my love of travelling with my family.

Handbridge is an area a short distance from the centre of Chester on the south bank of the River Dee. Access to the city centre is via the Old Dee Bridge dating from 1353, which is a 2 minute walk from the apartment. A short stroll through the small riverside park known as Edgar's Field (with fantastic children's play area) takes you to the Old Dee Bridge and along Lower Bridge Street into the centre of the city. Handbridge itself has a number of shops and pubs, including The Ship Inn which is a great bar and restaurant serving home cooked food and cask ales. Handbridge is also home to a small riverside cottage named 'Nowhere', believed to have originally been a secret tavern and, in 1963, the inspiration for The Beatles' song 'Nowhere Man'.
