Chequer Stable is a superb detached cottage in the village of Sandbach near to Congleton in Cheshire. The cottage can sleep two people in a mezzanine double bedroom as well as a ground floor bathroom. The cottage also contains an open plan living area with kitchen, dining area and sitting area with woodburning stove. To the outside of the cottage is off road parking for two cars and an enclosed patio with furniture and BBQ. Chequer Stable is ideally located for visiting lots of different areas to enjoy. Note: Children over the age of 10 or babes-in-arms only.

Neighborhood info

Sandbach is a large historic market town in Cheshire and dating back to Saxon times with its famous Saxon Crosses still visible in the cobbled square. The town offers plenty of interesting shops with many pubs and restaurants to visit. The Brereton Heath Nature Reserve is a place to visit with some lovely walks and some interesting wood sculptures to observe. Also there is Wheelock Hall Farm and for something a little different you can visit St Mary's Church, a Grade II listed building with some beautiful stained glass windows as well as the church yard which is a magical place to explore.
