I absolutely love helping guests create special memories during their time here. I live in the main house, just next to the cottages, so if you need anything at all, I’m always nearby and more than happy to help.

Riley Wood cottage is the perfect countryside retreat for a quiet and tranquil break away from the hustle and bustle. The end cottage of three (all attached). This one bedroom cottage is truly special in the heart of the Peak District. With the hot tub over looking the fields to relax and unwind after a walk, cycle or run from the door. With a bed settee in the spacious living area this is perfect for couples or two friends wanting complete peace and quiet. A space to rest, unwind and take a moment. We ask for quiet times after 9. This is a cottage for couples or 2 friends. It is not suitable for loud groups. The spacious upstairs bedroom provides complete comfort in the King Size bed. There is a dressing table and plenty of storage space. The view through the window opens up to views over the Peak District. The large bathroom has a shower, toilet and sink with plenty of space. Downstairs the open plan living, kitchen and dining area allows for relaxing evenings enjoying a home cooked meal. The sofa pulls out into a sofa bed allowing for families to stay comfortably. There is a patio area outside with table and chairs to enjoy the sunrise. A BBQ allows you to enjoy the summer evenings alfresco. The hot tub adds a magical experience, a place to relax after a lovely walk.

Neighborhood info

This is a truly special cottage for a peaceful and relaxing break away. It is in the heart of the Peak District, so when you have finished exploring you can still sit and enjoy what the Peak District has to offer from the cottage. This is a great romantic getaway, a place to recharge or time to spend with loved ones creating memories. My family house is opposite the cottage so if you need anything I am on hand to help. The cottage is in a rural location and is a good 10/15 minute walk to the village of Eyam with the pub and cafe's. An ideal location for those wanting to truly get away from it all and to rest and relax peacefully.
