Coombe Lodge Farm House overlooks Blagdon Lake and sits on a quiet country lane behind Coombe Lodge, a popular wedding venue, both of which sit on the Wills Estate on the edge of Blagdon Village. The house has beautifully proportioned rooms, filled with a mixture of antiques and contemporary art. The breakfasts are all cooked to order with free range and organically produced products, together with home made bread and a selection of jams. This award winning B&B has been open for 8 years, originally inspected by Sawday’s (‘Special Places To Stay’) and has accumulated impressive review scores of 10’s consistently. In October of 2025 Somerset Life printed a short article recommending people to stay at Coombe Lodge Farm House. Very popular with walkers as the property sits on the edge of the Mendip Hills. We are also just 2 mins walk from the Coombe Lodge wedding venue. You will always be greeted with a warm and friendly welcome from the owner Jenny and the characterful blind terrier Titch, who is the marvel of all who meet her!

Following a 30 year corporate career based in London, Jenny opened up the Bed & Breakfast in April 2018. "I love to entertain and am fortunate to have a lovely home to provide Bed & Breakfast to my lovely guests since the Spring of 2018. I have now expanded my hospitality business following the renovation of Ty'r Wennol, a beautiful house in St Davids, Pembrokeshire., which is now a very successful 5 star holiday let through St Davids Escapes."

On the edge of the Mendip Hills, and within walking distance of Black Down and many other glorious walks, the neighbourhood is stunning. The house sits overlooking Blagdon Lake, and there are a number of lovely local pubs and restaurants which include The well known Pony and Trap at Chew and The Ring O Bells nearby with lovely food and local beers. A short walk across the fields will bring you to The Plume of Feathers, a quintessential country pub with charm and character. Yeo Valley is on the doorstep with its own special canteen open to the public, book early! Gardens and scenery abound!
